SOUTH COAST ENTREPENEUR ANDY SCOTT JOINS FORCES WITH NATIONAL OPERATOR GLENDOLA LEISURE
 
South Coast entrepreneur Andy Scott ( 27 ) has completed a deal with National operator Glendola Leisure to brand out his Watermark cafe bar brand. With three sites already open in the South Of England including Port Solent, Palma and Bournemouth, the new JV company Glendola Leisure 2 Ltd has three more sites planned to open this year, and have 15 sites opened within 3 years.
 
Glendola 2 have an immediate requirement for cafe bar sites in waterfront areas and affluent town centres. with unit sizes sought between 3500 - 5000 sq ft.

THE WATERMARK BAR TAKE OVER BY ASCOTT GROUP

Well known, Portsmouth based entrepreneur Andy Scott (27 years old) takes over the largest bar at Port Solent.
 
Andy Scott, Chairman of The Ascott Group, who lives in Old Portsmouth has purchased the Watermark Bar, at Port Solent. The bar was purchased from Fullers Brewery for an undisclosed sum (Fullers recently purchased Gales Brewery for over £ 90 million pounds).
 
The Ascott Group plan to increase the bar trade by bringing in a range of live and background music to encourage people to spend more time in the Port Solent area, the music will be complimented by a continental feel to the place.

ASCOTT GROUP BUYS TOP HOTEL
 
Bournemouth entrepreneur and experienced hotelier Andy Scott, 27, has bought the Gresham Court Hotel....through Goadsby which had been marketing the property for £1.25 million. The hotel is to be refurbished throughout but will remain open to customers during the revamp. Mr Scott said "I am proud to be the new owner of this wonderful well-known Bournemouth Hotel. I am looking forward to working with the team and getting the hotel back where it should be".

YOUNGSTERS ABOARD!
 
Andy Scott is offering youngsters the chance to sample the ocean waves - but only if they carry out some work at the same time. Mr Scott who is managing director of the development company Ascott Group, has bought the 72ft Whitbread yacht...but the vessel...is in need of some TLC. Mr Scott is hoping that youngsters will help sand down the yacht...and in return he will let them sail in her for free. He said he wanted to give something back to the community and to save the yacht, having sailed all his life and learned on Whitbread's sister yacht.
